  1. I dont think so - but not sure.
  2. There is a new patch v1.1 out for Frostbite Supposed to fix alot of the sound problems amongst other things You can get if from www.ghostrecon.net
  3. Thank you Duck.
  4. lol. Yes that is true mate. I'm omnipotent you see. It was one of the 1st things I did when I installed Ravenshield, I looked through the directories with a graphic viewer to see what file format where. Main reason was to steal out the music, I also found a tool at www.radtools.com which plays the .bik video files & I guess you could make your own.
  5. I knew that. I'll download your's and have a look.
  6. Here's links to some good RavenShield Tools I use. I always use the VoiceKeyBinder & AD'S ini Editor was used to help me set-up a Dedicated Server. There is one slight problem with AD Ini Editor in that it doesn't fully support everything that is in the INI files, hopefully in the next version Almost Dead will fix this. (I i knew how to program, I'd write one myself. ) Here they are: 1. Almost Dead's RavenShield INI Editor - here 2. RavenShield Arm Patcher 1.2 - here 3. RavenShield Essentials - here 4. RavenShield Reticule Colour Changer - here 5. RavenShiled Voice Key Binder (Recommended) - here Enjoy.
  7. i'll see what i can do for ya.
  8. woot - maybe we can try it out this weekend.
  9. What size & what font do you want Camel? I'll knock a few up if yuo like, just need to know what size.
  10. Woot - I have done it. OK Kaiser - really easy. 1. Get a picture you want to use as an armpatch. 2. Load it into photoshop or paintshop. 3. Resize it to 64x64 pixels. 4. Save the picture as a .TGA (Targa Format) - I used ACDSEE to resize & save a JPEG file I had lying around. Important - the image must be 64x64 pixels and truecolour (24 bit) 5. Put the .tga file in your ravenshield/armpatches folder. 6. Load ravenshield - goto multiplayer section of options & select your armpatch from the list. 7. Job done. Originally my image was viewed upside down in RavenShield, but there is a option when saving to do a 'bottom up image' which fixed this problem. If you want me to convert a file for ya, just post the image here and I'll have a go. I can then MSN or email back to ya.
  11. the 1st set of insturctions on the platoon are actually what you need to do to upload the file to the platoon database. This link - http://www.theplatoon.com/ravenshield/armpatch_tut.asp - is the one you want.
  12. nice K, thanks. There are a couple of tutorials on platoon.com raven shield section about what to do to make an arm patch and how to install it. If you look at the main logo on the left side of our website - I think we will use that if I can get it reduced enough and still look ok.
  13. I dont mind Psyc - you can post whatever you like here.
  14. I found a couple of good programs on theplatoon.com RavenShield site that help no end in setting up the massive amount of options for RavenShield. 1. RSEssentials v1.2 - Game Launcher/Server Checker, Key Binder, etc 2. NEO (ClanTAT) Raven Shield Binder - Lets you bind the voice commands to a single key - cool. 3. Almost Deads INI Editor - Lets you edit all the settings in your INI files - cool. I also enjoyed the 5/6 hours spent on the TUG RvS Server yesterday with Kaiser, Undying, Dilbert, Benny, Jetchin. Lets hope there are more of those.
  15. mmm, dont understand that I got a full server just about every day - have you got a firewall running? Maybe something to do with that? Or try connecting direct to IP: 81.99.95.165 - if yo cant join via selecting on the server browser The game is also on the All Seeing Eye - so try a force connect aswell.
  16. All, Please note that we will be installing the MORPF AntiHack cheat on the TUG server this weekend. Please download the small ZIP file - here: MORPF MOD Once downloaded, unzip it to it's default folder, which should be called: M O R P F Place this folder and it's contents in your ghostrecon/mods/ folder. You will then be able to join any server that runs this mod. (Activation is only required when hosting.) Current server that are running the MOD: 1. SAF OC3 - MORPF 2. URNA HQ - MORPF 3. TUG GR 1.4 - MORPF All TUG members should download and install this MOD. Your co-operation is appreciated.
  17. omg - cool. Is that Orion lying there with his sniper rifle? Yeah, I'll help you if I can - just email me the file - zipped up. I'll PM you my email address.
  18. no problem - you can change your profile on the forums yourself & I'll add you to the roster page on the web site
  19. Woot, My dedicated Raven Shield Server is now up and running. Server Name: TUG RvS 1.2 Server Server IP: 81.99.95.165 GameType: Co-op Terrosist Hunt - 20 Tango's I had a few problems with it, cos it kept crashing at the end of Alpine Village map, I have now removed the map from rotation and it seems to be a bit more stable. Good thing is, lots of people have been playing on it over the last week. The Admin Password is same as TUG GR Dedicated Server. Please let me know if you have any problems connecting, thanks.
  20. Sorry guys, But it looks like the motherboard in my spare computer is dead. I purchased a CD-Rom drive from PC World and fitted it about a month ago and the computer almost instantly died when I connected it. I have since thrown the CD-ROM against the wall and trashed it. It'll be a couple more weeks now until I get a new motherboard, and hopefully by then UBI will have released the Windows/Linux dedicated server packages and sorted out the numerous bugs that v1.2 still hasn't seemed to fix & has probably introduced a few more. Watch this space.
  21. All, I would like to welcome a new Cadet into the ranks - TUGc_Whipshaft.
  22. lol Kaiser. I like your new avatar, cool.
  23. I think I have now fixed all the smilies / emoticons for black background. You may or may not have noticed white edges/border around them, this should now be fixed. Please let me know if there are any other things that look wrong. Thanks.
