NTL Broadband - 10MB - Woot

Just thought I'd like to share with you guys that I have now upgraded my 3mb to 10mb on NTL.

 

Phoned CS just now & they upgraded it..

 

Ran a speed test and got:

 

Downstream 7498 Kbps (937.3 KB/sec) 8097 Kbps (inc. overheads)

Upstream 466 Kbps (58.3 KB/sec) 503 Kbps (inc. overheads)

If you are already a 3mb NTL customer, the upgrade in speed is free.

 

Just phone up CS & select option 5 - then ask to upgrade your 3mb to 10mb please.

its ok found the answer on the ntl.com

 

for any1 else how's not on 3mb you will be upgraded to 10mb its just the 3mb peeps are getting done 1st..

1mb & 2mb users wont be upgraded until December 2006.

 

Although if you upgrade now to the 3mb (37.99) then you get the upgrade to 10mb.

 

Basically NTL are trying to grab more money from people & make the new customers & existing 1mb & 2mb people upgrade for their ??.
