Play GR:AW on the internet...

Recommended Posts

Yep, thats right, if you guys want to play the co-op MP with each other over the internet, you can do it with a great little program called Hamachi.

www.hamachi.cc

Basically, you can create a virtual LAN across the internet - all join the same 'channel' via hamachi, then fire up GR:AW and 1 can create a co-op server & the others can join it.

You dont need to use battlelan or hamachi to play GR:AW co-op in the full version, that was only the demo.

Just create a co-op server on the internet tab in-game & it'll appear to everyone on the server browser list to join. :)

Tried that beaver doesn't work, when game is launched nobody loads into the game

Start having errors from GAmespy also that end up in lost connections

You need to make sure your logged into gamespy - account name goes green - & that your firwall allows the graw.exe process to act as a server. Its probably blocking ports somewhere or your router is possibly blocking the ports required.

yea i also have probs hosting up

peeps connect but once I launch game they fail to show up and eventually exit

this is the same wether I am behind router or connected direct to set top box with firewall off!!

I think maybe its something to do with slow internet connection speeds on the part of the host I only have 2mb connection!
