.TuG.Beaver Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 Once I've figured out whats required to run the dedicated server properly & uploaded all the right files to our box, the .TuG. GR:AW server will be online. Its' possible I'll need to upload the entire GR:AW install folder, which is approx 2-3gigs, so I may need to upload it over a couple of nights. Watch this space!

.TuG.Beaver Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 Whats your upload speed? 512KBs I split the upload into 4 files - 3x 700mb & 1x 380MB. So far I've upload 200MB of the 380MB file in just under 1 hour. I'll leave the rest going over night & all should be good for installing it tomorrow evening when I get home from work.

The server decieded to do its automatic updates at 3am (which I totally forgot about) and rebooted itself afterwards, thus stopping my upload, otherwise it might have finished. I've got just over 800mb left to upload, which I will do this evening when I get home from work - should only take a couple of hours.
