.TuG.Beaver Posted December 31, 2006 Report Posted December 31, 2006 The Demo for Armed Assault as well as the demo dedicated server files are now out. Who wants to dl the demo and join me for some testing? List of downloads is here: http://www.armedassault.com/downloads.html Edit: I installed the demo + update on our dedicated box, but it wont run as it requires dx9 gfx card to run dedicated. Hopefully they will release a proper dedicated server package shortly.
.TuG.JJUK Posted January 1, 2007 Report Posted January 1, 2007 So we cant join you for some real fun then. eh.
.TuG.Beaver Posted January 1, 2007 Author Report Posted January 1, 2007 ** UPDATE ** After reading the ArmA forums, it appears all I need to do is install directx onto the server & the dedicated server mode should work fine. Will try & do it tonight.
