.TuG.DaveAlmighty
Yo, I need to upgrade, fast! I don't like my 6600GT, let's be honest, it's not very good. Any recommendations? Or any old graphics card you can sell to me:smile:
.TuG.Tweak
Hi mate, Get the best you can afford. If you have a PCIE motherboard that's 16xAGP then an 8800GS is the one to go for. It DX10 compatible too for when you get VISTA. They're going fo about ?270, and ?400 for the gobsmacking 8800GTS, maybe lower in some places. If that's too much, then either a NV 7950GT or 7900 will do for a while. Then there's the ATI 1950XT which is a great card as well. All depends on how much you have to spend really. .TuG.DaveAlmighty
I'm 14, I don't have as much money as you guys. How much for a 7900/7950GT then?
.TuG.Skeeta
I have a 7950GT Dave and it plays GRAW at top settings with no issues at all. Seeing as you mentioned the 7950 I assume you have PCIe (7800 os the fastest you can get with AGP is a 7800), I found this for a VERY reasonable 160 quid: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=465758
