See if you can dl it. :)

Recently it was announced that FilePlanet subscribers will be able to download and participate in the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars (ET:QW) Open Beta soon. The original Enemy Territory, developed by 1.png Splash Damage as an expansion to ID Software's Return to Castle Wolfenstein, was released as freeware and became a popular competetive FPS.

The sequel has been highly anticipated, and is already undergoing Closed Beta testing. The Open Beta will be released here.

Quote:Badman, Community Relations Manager:

At long last, we are delighted to confirm the impending Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Public Beta. The ETQW Closed Beta has been going extremely well and yielding excellent results. We want to give more people the opportunity to give us feedback on the game so we’re going to open a Public Beta with 60,000 slots available. This way we’ll be able to test many more combinations of hardware, RAM, CPU, graphics card, drivers etc. than we’ve been able to ourselves, and also get a better idea of how the game plays for the general gaming public.

oh yeah, beaver, i want if you agree...

is it really just for subscribers?

and could you maybe send me a link?

i am the first one who asks now for the key :D

I'm afraid my key is no longer available - I had to use it myself as the closed beta client & the public beta clients are different, so I couldnt play on the public beta servers.

You might want to get an 8800 to play this guys!! Mine has just arrived :)

I'm sitting here with a dirty big grin on my face and I have to say I'm moderately aroused! ETQW with everything maxed out at stupidhundred x stupidhundred resolution at 100 FPS!! can't be bad!! lol

GRAW 2 looks like a report from Iraq it's that good!

Anyone with less than a 7950 I would strongly urge you to buy one, the leap in performance is amazing.
