Exactly, so we all end up running it with the same settings. (Except some screen resolutions will be different as we all have different monitors) JJ - according to the test, you have an E6700 CPU - not an E6750 - you have one of the older CPU's (1066) not the newer core 1333 FSB ones. Use CPU-Z to check exactly what one you have.

SAF_Snowball
Lets find out who's got the uber machines. Please all download 3D Mark06 and run the test and post your scores & system specs. Damn you Beaver, you're the voice of Satan. Got my new machine last July and have tried to avoid doing any benchmarking 'cos it only makes you unhappy with the performance you're getting. But saw your post and got lured in, and now as I suspected I'm unhappy with the figures, especially when a similar spec is showing 14,000 plus on the 3DMark website. My 3DMark06 Score: 9983 bah System Specs: Asus P5B Intel Core 2 Extreme Quad QX6700 2GB Hyundai PC2-4300 Geforce 8800 GTS 640 MB gfx card. Guess it might be the crappy RAM that's screwing it. The test is mostly GPU based, with 2 being CPU - ram doesnt really factor into it too much i dont think.

.TuG.Beaver
Not too bad.... although in the cpu test i was at 0 fps the whole time any idea why? Because its a CPU test not a GFX test, basically its maxing your CPU to do software calculations instead of using the gfx hardware.

Yep, it's defo your ram mate. I've seen people on line with a similar spec (with better RAM though) getting over 14000!! A bit of ram and maybe a new mobo might be in order.
