.TuG.Beaver
I have updated the TUG Picture Gallery this afternoon and it has a new URL. Gallery can now be found here: http://www.clantug.com/gallery/albums.php TUG members now have access to upload pictures to the Soldner & Call Of Duty galleries. Please post if you want me to create additional galleries for other games/things/personal photos etc. Login details for TUG members can be found in the private forums. Enjoy. Tantalus
without giving anything away in this 'open' forum - Logged in as per instructions, selected drop-down to ... nothing! the option does not remain selected it just shows <> and page remains as is.. no facility to upload.. EDIT: Done - allowed the JAVA applet to download/install.. got the page up now..
.TuG.Beaver
** Another Update ** Have just purchased the Gallery Add-on for these forums and will be installing & importing all the stuff over from the old gallery soon. What this will allow is all members to have their own gallery to play with & add pictures, etc. as well as the general public galleries. URL is here: http://www.clantug.com/forum/index.php?act...&module=gallery But - for some reason - it only displays when the default IPB skin is used - I'm working on finding out why that is now. Edit: Updated link - gallery is now live on the TUG site. Note: Currently - only TUG members can upload pictures & movies to the galleries. Once everything is set-up correctly I will look into allowing other members to use the facility. (Disk space/bandwidth etc)
.TuG.Beaver
** Update ** Finally got the other skins to work with the gallery - so you should all now see it with whatever skin you have selected as a default. All I need to do now is import all the pics from our old gallery - then set up the permissions to allow uploads of pics & movies.
.TuG.Beaver
Yay - gallery is fixed - I'll be uploading the existing stuff from the old gallery over the next couple of evenings.
.TuG.Beaver
** UPDATE ** The gallery conversion is now comple & we have moved over to using InvisionGallery. All albums from the old software are imported and up for public viewing. There is now also the ability for TUG Members to create their own Private or Public galleries from within the 'My Control' section on the forums. You should now see 2 new options in the left hand menu - 'Your Albums' & 'Your Favourites'. The albums can be created here and you can set if the public will be able to them or not. At the moment - there are no restrictions on filesize or uploads plus you can even upload .wma & .mov movie files too. I will be adding more media filetypes soon. I'll be keeping any eye on the bandwidth usage & may have to impose some limits if we start to get near our monthly 10GB transfer limit (so far it's never gone above 1GB per month) All TUG Members can add pictures/comments to 3 of the galleries - the 'Save the Travelmate' gallery is now closed. Enjoy. oh... and please let me know if anything isnt working as it should. Thanks.
