I am playing the game on hamachi in co-op with some peeps. Works great.

Yep, thats right, if you guys want to play the co-op MP with each other over the internet, you can do it with a great little program called Hamachi. www.hamachi.cc Basically, you can create a virtual LAN across the internet - all join the same 'channel' via hamachi, then fire up GR:AW and 1 can create a co-op server & the others can join it.

GFX look great even on my crappy 6600gt. Gameplay - seems very slow compared to GR1, but its a new game, so I need to get used to it.

Post here your 1st impressions of the GR:AW demo....

The AMS server was supposed to be ranked, but I dont think the problem ever got fixed, which is one of the reasons we never played on it.

Our main games going forward over the next month or so will be Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter & Counter-Strike:Source. We'll also probably have a look at Crysis & Enemy Territory:Quake Wars when they come. BF2 just didnt seem to kick off for us as a team game, although a few of us still play it now & again jsut for some ranked fun.

I'll pm you shortly Turbo with details on what happens next. Just getting over being ill for a few days after coming back from i27 LAN.

Hi We're not really playing BF2 anymore, even though there is an Amsterdam server up & running - it should have been shutdown already by the hosting company, but they are slow. The main games we'll be playing are: Counter-Strike:Source & Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter.

I have your application - just havent processed it yet as I am at i27 LAN in UK. Will be back at home on monday evening and will sort things out.

Yep, me.... I just got confirmation that Ubisofts stand at i27 LAN will be showing off the PC version (yep you heard me right) of GR:AW and we'll be able to play it apparantly. Below is the info from an email I recieved this morning from the i27 organisers.
