Yep, No problemo Camel - I got your PM , but for some reason everytime I try and send a PM now on the TUG forums, I get an error - will have to look into that. I'll post the visitthemaps here tonight when I get home.

My server will be down for a couple of days while I check out some problems with it. Yesterday it kept rebooting - when I got home and checked inside the CPU heatsink was red hot, so I went and got a new 2600+ AMD processor. It ran for a bout an hour with the case side off and then did a reboot too. I think something has got damaged by heat - maybe the memory or motherboard - I'll have to investigate over the next couple of days. Hopefully normal service will be resumed shortly - I'll just go buy another motherboard and memory.

This evening I have updated the TUG Ravenshield Server to 1.3 I've been playing on it for about 30 mins and it seems very stable - also nice to have the server full within about 5 minutes of me restarting it. The web page at - www.clan-tug.com/tat/ - still works and you can people off or change maps, etc Have fun - any problems then let me know - thanks.

Thanks K, saw that on Platoon yesterday. I will be upgrading the TUG RvS server to 1.3 sometime next week if the fixed patch is out.

lol Psyc. I never R.T.F.M. unless I'm absolutely stuck with something, then I'll apply rule no. 37 Anyway, what kind of toaster's do they have in Sweden that require 70 page manuals?

1. Make sure that you have set you connection type in option. 2. To play online - click multiplayer - you then have a choice (2 tabs) of Internet or Lan - click the internet tab and it should as for your CD key to be entered and then you need to supply it with a UBI login name and password - I have it set to auto login - never had a problem yet. 3. Once the CD key is entered and the UBI login is done - you should then see a list of servers in the in-game browser - click on a server and then Join or alternatively if you know a server IP then click Join IP and enter the IP. ie. 81.99.95.165 That's it. The manual should also be read as it give you some clues as to what you should be doing. Rule no. 37 - If in doubt - R.T.F.M. I'll hopefully be on TS later this evening or Friday & weekend - will try and help you through it.

As promised and after some initial testing - I have now put up a TUG Ravenshield Server Status page on the tug website, it can be accessed here - http://www.clan-tug.com/serverstatus/tug.php It'll show all server details & current map, players, weapons, etc. But the really cool thing about it is the REMOTE ADMIN link at the top right. Click on this and you can do some nice things to the server without even having to start Ravenshield. The best bit is being able to restart the server, sending messages to players in-game & being able to KICK & BAN players & change maps. This is especially good if you can't get into the server cos it is full and want to make room for yourself. Just make sure you select the correct option from the drop down list & put the remote admin password in. Most of you knwo what the admin password is and if not then PM me and I'll let you know. Have fun and let me know how it goes and if there's any problems.

My time off from work is booked from Monday 18th August to Friday 29th August - so basically I finish @ 4:30pm on the Friday 15th. and back to work on Monday 1st Sept. As yet - me & mrs Beaver havent booked anything and might just go for a week somewhere. Pints are nice - especially the new cool flow guiness. I'll definately come say hello if I'm around.

Nice Psyc, I'm about 45mins from Heathrow - via the in-famous m25 motorway. My holiday is booked for the last 2 weeks in August, so I may or may not be around. If you can give some specific dates then we'll see what we can do.

Yeah, I saw that Dire - I even responded and thanked you guys. It's a shame we didnt get a chance to play you guys. As for Echo Squadron - bunch of cheaters as far as I'm concerned. We caught one of their members - GBT3E - cheating on the SAF Server a while back - he came in a used the Ghostz mod - we challenged him and he admitted to using it - he was promptly banned. I think the replays may still be around somewhere. Anyway, thanks for the comments - I hope you guys kick some ass and good luck on TWL. We decided to go look at clanbase - www.clanbase.com - as there are about 40 teams on the Static Insertions ladder, so there should be more chance for matches and fun.

Your not allowed to have dynamic pages in IMG tags. What you need to do is have the exact URL to the image between the tags. I uploaded my sig to the TUG website and link it from there. Like this - http://www.clan-tug.com/images/sigs/beaver_sig.gif - but between the IMG tags. If you email me your sig then I'll upload it to the TUG site or you could ask Psyc to place it on his.

It happens to me to sometimes - I just make sure I logout of the in-game browser & login again. That seems to fix it most times.

Lol, looks like the tards are out in force again. Here's a list of people that we DO LIKE - and you shouldnt boot or ban them. 1. ATCC clan - they were in the other night and very nice bunch of people. 2. EQX clan - Badger and co - very nice bunch of UK chaps - they payed compliment to our nice server. 3. Firedragon - This is our old Ghost Recon buddy.

Psyc really hasnt done 1007 posts - I just gave him an extra 1000 as a favour.

If you wanna checkout some music from RavenShield - available to download.... Why not the Composer's own website - Bill Brown - has done the music for loads of cool games. Bill Brown Composer There's some cool stuff on there.

I believe the music is encoded in OGG Vorbis format and I need to check out the files in the sound directory. I do remember seeing on one of the Ravenshield sites a link to some music, but cant remember it now. I'll post here if I get the music ripped out.

I saw some guys with TUG tags on yesterday, but couldn't get into the server to ask what was going on. I guess I should have just killed it and restarted it, then joined. I thought it might have been 'The Un-gibbed' clan who used to play Quake3 Fortress - they had the TUG tag. Nice job UD in banning them, I had some assholes on the other day who I booted for telling me what to do on my own server.
