Having problems

Right ive got a piece of spyware hiding on my PC and i cant find it, it basically changes my web start page to www.drusearch.com , anyone have an ideas where i might be able to get a removal tool for this thing? <_

Argh - it's actually a registry setting thats been hijacked.

 

Go get - spybot search & destory - do the updates and then run it.

 

It also has some tools for locking the browser def page and also blocking lots of those things for you.

 

Also go get spywareblaster.

I use both, plus Ad-Aware 6.

 

They find things that ad-aware doesnt and vice versa.

thanks i sorted it earlier i ran adaware 6 through it and it sorted the problem
