Yes we ran a memory test.

Faulty RAM, sending it back. Had to re-install vista.

All done... bastards gave me faulty RAM. I swear there should be compensation for the 2 days of plain shite I went through.

Right, so the problem started off with my having 2gb of ram, I then installed 64bit vista so I could have 4gb of ram. Ordered two more modules, so I now have 4x1gb in there. About 1 minute after the system has booted up, I get a BSOD "Page fault on nonpaged area". Tried to boot Vista disc with 4 sticks, it BSOD'd and gave the error "IRQL less or not equal" Booted Vista disc with 3 sticks, installs but halfway through, BSOD's giving the error "memory_management" Wish help!!!

Are you backing up with an external hardrive? Best to just put it on there as it's piss easy to lose a floppy or CD...
