I have arrived and checked into the hotel - just waiting on JJ & Psyc arriving, then we'll go see about checking in! Will try and take some photos throughout the weekend and post em up in the gallery when I can.

You should goto - www.evenbalance.com - download the PBSetup utility and add FC2 - then do an update - I'm guessing you got kicked for a PB violation as your client didnt match the server - the game doesnt tell you this though! You could try bringing up the console - using the ` key - and it may have more info to see why you got kicked.

It does that if the server is full... Server has been pretty much full all the time since it went up on saturday morning.

TuG Team Far Cry2 Server Online More good news boys & girls, after several hours uploading files to our dedicated box and then sorting out the problems of running the Dedicated Launcher - our Far Cry2 server is now online! It does look like it will be a good single-player game indeed. I never played any of the previous Fallout games - but the recent spread in PC Zone about F3 peeked my interest. Havent played a really really great SP game for a very long time now.

That spec looks fine - good cpu - large amount of ram - and more importantly - a 9800M GTS 512MB. Should do him ok for a while.

Killcam was supposed to be off - I just forgot to update the main config, so when it restarts - the kill is off.

Ty for the tip - but I never have vsync turned on anyway - which probably explains why the load times were quicker for me on my 2 machines. I did find a post in the support section about Pure over at Disney - and they seemed to think the excessive load times of 1-2.5 mins was ok for a high quality 3d fp game - obviously they have no idea about PC!

Hi Typhoon and welcome to the forums. We did take a look at Arma (a couple of us had the demo) when it came out, but were very dissapointed with it - maybe alot of things have been fixed with patches since then, but I think we had kind of moved on, but thanks for the offer of a few games though - always appreciated. Arma2 looks a little more promising though, while OPFlash2 looks like its going to be awesome and probably right up our 'squad-based tactical shooter' street! Hope you enjoyed i34 as we did - unfortunately only 2 of us could attend. But we have about 7 guys turning up at i35 - sitting in the same place as i34 - E48-E42. I think we'll be going for alot more at i36 next year - but doubt we'll hit the insane 40-50 as you guys did.....

hey Tass, nice to see your still with us. Didnt you go off to join the army or something? Last time I spoke, you were talking about being a heli pilot or something?

I am off on the thursday and will be aiming to arrive at Stoneleigh around lunch time if needed. I;d say get a flight that gets into Birmingham just after lunch time if you can and then get a flight late afternoon/early evening on the monday. This will give either myself or JJ opportunity pick you up and drop you off.

Its funny JJ, I was just going to email him this evening and ask the same question.

What fricking planet was this on? All the reviews that I've read of MP for the BIA series have been dire - the SP is spot on - but MP has always been an afterthought in this series.

After a few problems with some thefts at i34, there was a raging debate on MPUK forums and on the esports news site - cadred.org - about what exactly they should be doing for i35 and beyond with regards to security,etc. MPUK have now responded with the following post over on the Multiplay site. Once you've read it - take 5 minutes and then go back and read it again, and just let it sink in. The most obvious thing to take from it is: Your computer and stuff is YOUR responsibility, not ours! Benny and I will be attempting to make sure that we have sufficient 'Kensington Locks' for everyones PC/Monitors.

So far it seems that this is going to be a sub 1000 seater LAN, currently there are currently 921 people signed up (thats paid) - and taking a look at the seat picker, you can see alot of clear spaces. The next to know is that i35 will be taking place in only 1 HALL - all the exhibition section will be set-up in the same HALL as the gamers in the greyed-out areas at the bottom of the seating plan. See the attached image below - red marked area!

Sounded like good news when I read it - but reading a futher post on the i35 site - it appears that it'll be SexBox360 only.....

I downloaded last night and installed on the gaming rig - will install on the other machine tonight and me & benny will give it a test. Looks to be fun - hopefully the LAN play will allow mods, etc to be used also. Will need someone else with it to try on Hamachi soon!

Crytek/EA will be having a free weekend coming up where people can play Crysis Wars for free. However, you can download the Crysis Wars client now and play on LAN (Hamachi?) for free forever - no cd key required! If you sign-up on the mycrysis.com website this weekend, they give you a free cd-key so you can play online.

I'm still here - its just that unlike you sad ****s, I've been 'going outside' and doing things for the last couple of weeks!! Have been to 3 comedy shows in the last 3 weeks and enjoyed them all - Lee Evans at the o2 on saturday night was great fun. Will be back online now more that my extra activies have come to an end, although I am waiting to see if my tickets for the new 'IT Crowd' series show tapings come through soon and I can go watch it being made!
