how bout tellin us your specs

you bought the OC card - GeForce 8800 GT core running at 625MHz - the std is 600MHz - and your shader is clocked at 1566MHz - std = 1500MHz I'll clock mine to the same & re-run the test - see what happens.

Whats your specs again? And did you buy the overclocked gfx card?

Because its a CPU test not a GFX test, basically its maxing your CPU to do software calculations instead of using the gfx hardware.

hehe - nice snowy - glad we could drag you into the mix. My 8800gt out-performs the old GTS cards, which is why I'm ahead. The test is mostly GPU based, with 2 being CPU - ram doesnt really factor into it too much i dont think.

Exactly, so we all end up running it with the same settings. (Except some screen resolutions will be different as we all have different monitors) JJ - according to the test, you have an E6700 CPU - not an E6750 - you have one of the older CPU's (1066) not the newer core 1333 FSB ones. Use CPU-Z to check exactly what one you have.

Just use the free version available from the 3dmark website - dont change any settings. http://www.3dmark.com/download/3dmark06/ Gamershell link was the fastest dl for me.
