Nice. AA is currently using the UT2k3 engine - but is being upgraded to the UT2K4 engine from what I hear. It also has the nice rag-doll physics too if I remember correctly. We did play AA a while back, but I lost interest after they screwed up my account and I didnt fancy doing all the training again. So I have yet to see all the new SF maps & weapons.

Good news - I have merged your 2 player profiles in the stats & re-generated them this morning. Your now above him.

** UPDATE ** The web admin page has now be fixed and put back onto port 8780 - so the page should now work ok from the link on the main site. However, the game port has now changed to port: 9999 Please update your ASE/favourites with the new port. It does seem to work ok as the server is full as I speak. Let me know if there are any problems.

Benny & a few friends have been playing Q3A recently for fun, so decided to stick QuakeIIIArena up on the dedi box for some old school fragging - forgot how much fun this game is, plus it's got bots to play against when your lonely. rgr - spoke to scott this morning on IRC & he was raising an internal support ticket to have the guys change our ports back to the originals.

** UPDATE ** Something got a bit borked last night at Trinity's end in their server database. For some reason our server ports got screwed up. Game port should be: 69.28.241.150:12221 & 8780 as query port (web admin) But its showing as port 12223 & 8783. Try and connect if you can - let me know whats going on. They will be reseting it later today, fingers crossed. Plus I have now turned off the RvC MapPack 4 & just put it back to plain AthenSword config.

There is a feature in the stat generator to combine/merge 2 player stats. I'll try it on yours. I think it picked up the 2 different spellings in your name as seperate players (uppercase/lowercase). Hopefully that wil solve teh problem.

You should be able to post to the HalfLife2 gallery now, I changed the permissions.

The mods are now active on the server. AlphaSquad 1.0 & Standard Upgrade

CS:Source is basically the same old CS - but using the brand new 'source' engine from HalfLife2. Has pretty graphics/effects & full physics plus some other cool stuff. Other old Valve games are ported to the source engine too - HL1 - Day Of Defeat - Team Fortress to name a few.

Just played my 1st evar game of CS - what fun it is... ...so, I decided to download the cs:s dedicated server package onto the TUG server. Details to follow soon!

Seems that the Steam auth servers got a little overloaded yesterday and where offline for ages - I finally managed to create a steam account & register my cd-key this morning. Will post some screenshots from HL2 tonight.

At the moment 1 UK POUND (GBP) = approx 1.8 US DOLLAR We're definately getting a better deal than you are seeing as our stuff is alot more expensive. e.g. Big Mac meal here (from memory) = 2.99 GBP or 3.99 GBP - I forget. Best time to come is summer - july onwards - cos all of us are on holiday somewhere else. Weather gets nice around then and in the south - around london (south/south-east/south-west) has sometime gotten upto 30 degrees celcius. If you prefer countryside & some fantastic scenery and friendly people - you cant go wrong with bonny scotland (I'm teh scottish). There's so many good places to go - but it depends on what you & the family like to do. If you decided to come over next year - I'll definately come say hello if your not too far away...

Just looking through gr.net & noticed another great weapon mod has been updated - Thumper 7.62! ** UPDATE ** Thanks Bran - awesome find. I have installed this mod on the server ready to be activated once a few more people have it downloaded. Please post here when you have it & we can set a MOD night this week and have it activated for all to play.

I have added the popular AlphaSquad FireFight2 gametype to the server for your pleasure.

Today the TUG Soldner Server was updated to the latest version - 30770. The 2 new maps are added to the rotation and the starting money & rounds , etc have been set as per before. Enjoy.
