Tantalus
There are a great deal of programs which will do what you ask - including Nero, which is by far the simplest option because it is so 'widely available' via a number of internet sources.... NeroVision Express is the part of Nero which you require. In version 6 it is contained in the second download package. All you do is select make DVD Video, import your movie file(s), and then construct your 'menu' options; such as title, button style, background picture, menu music etc.,etc. Purely for conversion I tend to use WinAVI; details of which can be found HERE - it gives you a great choice of conversion options and quality levels but with early versions the result still has to be burned to media, with the likes of Nero or other burning software. The latest version is an all-in-one package and includes burning options. This software too can be found around the internet for a 'greatly reduced price' if you look in the right places.. Having just visited their website, CuSoft products look to be a reasonable alternative, but having never used it I cannot comment with any authority. Just remember you get what you pay for, normally in terms of product support and updates etc... and as my granny used to say "Buy Cheap and you Buy Twice" more often than not she was right.. I hope this information is of use in your quest for the ultimate digital conversions..
