I just found out completly by accident that if your gonna play CoD MP through ASE, you dont need to insert your game CD, it just runs, however if ya wanna play the SP then you gotta put your Disk in. And this is without using the No CD Crack.

Well for me this is a long awaited sequel, i really enjoyed the original Deus Ex and still fire it up from time to time, for me its one of the better games ever made, and with the help of the unreal engine they really fucked the sequel up. To say i'm very disappointed is probably the understatement of the decade, i downloaded the demo yesterday, and just installed it today, and played it and although i didnt complete the demo i'd quite frankly had enough by the time i died anyway, problems are as follows. New inventory interface allows you to carry up to 10 items regardless of item size, but its quite difficult to swap between weapons. The ragdoll death throws of the tangos looks as always just totally dumb, its like killing jellyfish. The graphics this time around arent in my opinion as sharp and well real (as possible) as the original its leaning almost towards cartoony. The list goes on and on, why cant developers look at what they created before and say something like "well this was hugely successful lets leave it the same sort of format but create new missions and maps" instead of the more usual "Right the our first outing was hugely succesful lets change everything so the game looks completly different and sucks some serious ass, and is quite frankly unplayable". They really need to employ ppl from the gaming sector that arent afraid to tell them their new game sucks. That way they might be able to create something that is truely worth of having the "Deus Ex" logo attached to it. 2/10

well if it looks and plays anything like BHD then it wont be something i'm prepared to waste my money on. If i can get hold of a demo i'll review it here.

I spent a couple of hours today playing on AAO on the 82nd Airborne Mission server and it was fun, i even got a few kills, but i found you score your experience points alot quicker as a medic crawling round healing ppl.

i have the time on my hands that allows me to do it.

Well what can i say, i spent 1hr 20 mins downloading this 358Mb demo, and 10 mins playing it. If your a UT, Quake & R6 fan you might enjoy it, i didnt, also it had elements of IGI2 MP in its SP, meaning that as you complete objectives or kill ppl you pick up money that you can then use to buy guns and ammo, unfortunately you arent able to pick up guns that dead enemies have dropped, and you lose whatever your using when you die. There are sniper rifles available to buy but they are very expensive and the tango's dont stop long enough to kill, kind of a waste of money really. The description on fileplanet for this game made it sound kinda fun, which is why i downloaded it, but in reality its not, it sounded to me almost like a RvS imitation, but failed for me. just a 3/10 for this one from me.

Well a friend of mine suggested i check this out, he said it was hard but fun. Well yes it is hard, but it is hard because the tango's can see through bushes that you cant, eg. whilst crawling through undergrowth 30 secs into the demo a tango starts shooting me after about 4 shots i was dead and still completely unaware of where the shots were coming from, it turned out the tango was at the bottom of the hill under a shelter, i couldnt see him as he was completly obscured by the foliage and the shelter, BUT, he had no problem seeing me even though i was crouched in the bushes. The graphics overall are quite bad considering its a new game, not worth the money in my opinion. If ya want a good Vietnam type game then i would suggest ya get VIETCONG. Overall rating 2/10.

Well as the thread title suggest this isnt the best game on the market at the moment its not quite the worst but its getting there, ive only played the SP version so far if i get really bored i might dl the MP version but dont hold your breath, the thing that i found that spoilt this game the most was the fact that when you shot someone it usually takes half a smg clip to put them down and it doesnt matter whether you shoot them in the face or in the ass it still takes the same amount of rounds, where as shooting them with a shot gun takes but one shot. The graphics although smooth are pushing towards the cartoon land, but not cel shading. Personally overall i think it aint worth buying till it comes out on budget range, then after youve paid your ?5 if ya dont like it then its only ?5 youve wasted. Overall Rating 2/10

Well after patching my AA with the 1.9 - 2.0 patch, i tried to connect and found a message saying that my log in was no longer valid so i had to create another login and yes i had to re-do the training again. I finally got through to the adv marksmanship today with a score of 38 out of 40, and passed my M24 & M82 again, also i completed the SF E of E, first time as well, if your having difficulty all i found you had to do is use slow prone (there are 2 speeds in prone slow & not quite as slow) Use slow prone and stay away from trees and bushes, although bushes do give cover they also rustle when you enter them, which gives away your position, I found that this test is really really really boring crawling everywhere but it only took me 30 mins start to finish and believe me crawling in prone for 30 mins almost makes ya wanna say B******s to this and pack it in, but its worth it in the end cause you get to Modify your weapon, get a decent scope etc.

what OS are you running, have you tried going to roxio to dl the update patch, also from what i can gather only v6 was designed for XP.

I downloaded this mod today cause it sounded kinda fun, and quite frankly its total pants, part of the mod is the music from the film BHD, but unfortunately its really loud and sometimes so much so that ya cant hear the gun fire, and you cant turn the music off either. The mod is set on the Vilnius map and i usually run at about 60 fps on Vilnius, on the BHD mod i averaged about 2-7 fps. Mainly because of the quantity of tango's, which is true to BHD but pants in a GR server, and large groups of tango's have a habit of spawning right next to ya so you dont really get a look in. But the bit that really spoiled this mod is the night action, because the mod alters your NV so that you can only see about 6ft (no exaggeration) in front of ya. And as in true GR fashion the tangos can see a mile away. so you get slaghtered and never know where from. I must admit i did like the M249 Para but thats just me. All in all it aint worth the download time. Overall rating 2/10

I think it depends on whether or not you have it in your kit for that map, because i was in a server last night that although it was a night map, i didnt have NV?

YAY!!! I just qualified with M24 & M82. And wow if you thought the M16 scope moved alot with the breathing, you wait till you see the sniper scopes.....lol. Incidentally i found qualifying for the M24 was easier than qualifying with the M16?

I just had a couple of games on the AA server and wow on some of the maps i parachuted in, really funny cause it was dark and ya cant see the floor coming.

Psy - i once downloaded Kazaa about 1 month ago, and attached to the download was 12 seperate pieces of adware/spyware including one trojan that my spyware program picked up, goto www.download.com and download Spysweeper 2.1, run this through your system and you'll be sorted.

I downloaded the full 1.9 version today it only took 3 hours, also got that other file as well although i dont know what it does.
