Yes I am currently using FireDaemon Trinity on our dedicated box and it seems to be working well. I just added it as a normal service and set it to log/restart on crash etc. I'll take some screenshots of the settings page later and post em here. As for the log files - we will have to wait until the guys from GRIN are back from holiday and see if they turn it back on in the next patch.

TGPSP - v1.02 Release Discussion
.TuG.Beaver replied to .TuG.Beaver's topic in GR:AW - TGPSP Release Announcement Discussion
Unfortunately not. We have no idea how the data is being sent & on which port & at what time. It may be possible to use some sort of packet capturing software and record everything going out on various ports for later analysis. But its a long winded way and probably wont reveal much if the data is encrypted. Hopefully when the next proper patch comes, they will re-instate the XMLS, all we can do in the meantime is make sure we post on the GR.net forums that we want this feature back. -
I have upgraded the Gallery this evening to the latest vbphotopost v2.3 If you find any problems, then please let me know asap. Thanks & enjoy.

Beaver for you.
.TuG.Beaver replied to Colin's topic in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (GR:AW 2)
Looks about right if its the same as my original post from gr.net (that I have edited/updated a couple of times.) -
I'll check with the CS:S Team Captain - .TuG.h0 - & see what he says. Right now we have about 6 players already signed on as recruits over the last 2 weeks, I'll leave the final decision upto him if we take you on for a trial or not.

Hi & thanks for your application. I notice that you are only 14 years old & we currently have a minimum age requirement of 16+ for CS:S & 18+ for GR:AW2.

Rackage Servers??
.TuG.Beaver replied to RRRuss's topic in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (GR:AW 2)
Hi RRRuss, yes it was me. There are many companies you could rent a box from, my 2 personal favourites are Rackage & Trinity & I have used servers from both for a few years now. Right now we are currently renting a full dedicated box from rackage, which allows us full remote access & to run any games on it that we want to install. We have a GR:AW2 plus 2x CS:S servers and a TS server running at the moment. Contact details: nick@rackage.com Let him know what you are looking for & tell him I referred you. -
Ubisoft have released the latest patch for GR:AW2. The only fix seems to be: - Fixed some issues with server listing Weighing in at 14mb for the v1.00-v1.02 patch & 7mb for the v1.01-v1.02 patch. You can download the patch from ubisoft directly: here or update using the in-game auto-patcher. Enjoy.

TGPSP - v1.02 Release Discussion
.TuG.Beaver replied to .TuG.Beaver's topic in GR:AW - TGPSP Release Announcement Discussion
Hi Jota, I'm not exactly sure how phpnuke works - but there must be a way to add a custom module that uses something like an iframe to display the grawstats content. I'll have a look at installing phpnuke on my test machine if I get a chance. -

When GR:AW2 turns on the log files again. If they dont turn back on the XML file logging, then we're screwed. -
TGPSP - v1.02 Release Discussion
.TuG.Beaver replied to .TuG.Beaver's topic in GR:AW - TGPSP Release Announcement Discussion
Hi Jota, I'm not too sure about phpnuke, but I guess you would need to use the wrapper option within phpnuke (it if has one) to wrap your phpnuke around the stats. 1st off, I would install the stats to the default folder of grawstats & run the imports, etc - to make sure it works. 2nd, if that all works, then I think you would need to create a new 'module' in phpnuke. Can you give me a link to the wd13th site so I can take a look? Thanks. -
GR:AW2 Reviewed in PCZone
.TuG.Beaver posted a topic in Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 (GR:AW 2)
Just had this months copy of PC Zone drop through the door and they have a review of GR:AW2 as their top review. The give GR:AW2 80% & a 'recommended' tag. They do praise the SP game & make a small mention that MP is great fun, etc. PCZONE Graphics: Decent but hugely power-hungry. Sound: Superb musical score, realistic SFX and passable acting. Multiplayer: The best thing about the game. Plus's: Diverse, detailed levels. Brilliant in multiplayer. Tense & tactical Great interface & strategic tools. Minuses: Too similar to GR:AW Poor AI Overall: 80% GRAW 1.5 -
Over on ghostrecon.net, Rocky has posted some surprising information on the current state of affairs around the release of GRAW2 and interaction of the games publisher - GRIN - with the loyal fans. It appears that: 1. GRIN has been gagged from interacting with the GRAW community on the gr.net forums. I wondered why I hadnt seen any posts recently from the GRIN staff after the initial feedback we all gave to the Demo. 2. GRIN may have only been given 4 weeks to support GRAW2 after release to provide patches/fixes to any issues. If this is true, then UBISOFT has clearly no love for the PC gaming community at the moment. Original thread: here
