texture problems

Ok, when i have shadows on a weapon, the shadows looks green and blue, and dont look right ... I am running the game at full graphics on a nice system. any suggestions to fix these dark and unpleasent shadows?

 

 

my comp set up is ok, i sail along nicely at an average 60fps.. sometimes bottoming 40 sometimes maxing 130

either turn off shadows or have you updated your graphics drivers to latest version?

Thats a gfx driver issue - I had the same problem using old nvidia drivers.

 

They did fix this a few driver revisions ago - the latest 175.19 drivers linked below should fix it all:

hmm how about your monitor how old is it?

is a 1680 x 1080 thingy... made by Acer... only had it 9 months Its been out about 11 months

Sounds like the drivers didnt update properly. how odd.

 

This was definatetl a known issue with some old nvidia drivers (I had the same problem on 2 machines) until I updated. Once updated, the driver version definately says 175.19?

I take it you completely removed the old drivers before installing the new ones??

oh yeah, i may not be a technical kind of guy but that was midn bogglingly obvious to me
