That sucks - I'm waiting until next month I think to upgrade my mobo/cpu/ram, then wait to see what happens with the new nvidia cards coming in july-august before I get a new gfx card. lots of nice games coming in the next 6-12months, so about time to update I think.

Baza has posted on the EA forums regarding the upcoming patch for client & server next week. The changelog & details are below, with some very cool additions to the client - Zoom & Crouch Toggle!!

Our server was update to the latest R11 sometime last night, which should now fix the Favs problem. You'll probably need to delete and re-do all your favourite servers in the list!!

Our server has now been update to the latest R10 release. I'll take a look at the configs later on today and see what changes might need doing. PB is now always ON for ranked.

Have just updated my client with the new patch this morning and had a quick look at the changed server browser - it does look good!! Just waiting for Rackage to wake up and put the R10 files into our control panel so I can update the server. I will be on tonight playing.....

lol, yep - apparantly they only let this slide for now as they had more important things to fix!! The min number of players to properly start a round is now 4 - so you can still run around and cap stuff and kill, but no points are able to be added to your stats until the round is started proper with 4.

A changelist and details of the upcoming R7 & R10 client & server patches has been released on the EA forums today. Details below of the changelogs for both.

** update ** I've just had an email from Rackage to say that R9 has now been released and they will be mass updating the servers shortly. So tonight we'll be on R9 when playing.

The guys over at BC2 sigg-o-matic have changed their website URL and we should all update our sigs to point to the new site, which is at: http://bfbc2.statsverse.com/ I'll update the Roster later with the new sigs as they should be available for everyone now.

A changelog of the R9 server update coming next week has been posted on the EA UK forums. Details of the changelog below and they also say thay a new CLIENT Patch will be released too!!

ah JJ - wish you'd spoken to me before buying all that - would have advised you to go for the newer i7-930 which is the replacement for the i7-920.

** UPDATE ** The new maps are now working. Have stuck the Arica Harbor CONQUEST in the map rotation now as the 1st map. I love it - its a tiny CQB map all taking place in the village area down the hill from the top base - 3 flags are all about 15m apart - so lots of infantry fighting!! yay.

unfortunately - maps not working at the moment for some reason. Some people on the EA UK forums have got them to work, others havent. Will let you know more when I know more. The 2 maps are existing maps, but in Conquest & Rush Modes. evels/mp_006cq Conquest Arica Harbor levels/mp_009gr Rush Laguna Presa

I got an email from rackage last night to say that the new maps should be available from 8am this morning! will add to the map list and test it out shortly

Well it had people on it last night for a while as R7 with PB off. After I updated it to R8 this morning, I turned PB back on to do a test, but only you joined it. Once the current issues are resolved at EA, will turn it on without PB running to see what happens.

Must be an issue client side, I'm not seeing any issues from multiple locations/browsers - all looks ok. Might be he's blocking something in his browser??
