Yay - cool beans. Welcome.

Haha - nice.

Yay.

Cool - ty - will come check it out.

Hey Tantalus, Welcome to the site and the forums. If we're not on the TUG GR server - we may be playing on our Allies server @ IP: 66.250.220.234 - or maybe even playing a little Call of Duty or Ravenshield. We're also on voice comms - Teamspeak 2 on IP 66.250.220.234. You can find us in ASE with the TUG_ tags for Ghost Recon & the [DoH] tags when playing Call of Duty. Come play with us anytime, there's usually someone around.

According to alot of the game sites - Soldner will be with us at the end of Q1 2004 - having looked at all the previews and screenshots - all I can say is - woot. Let's hope it something we can get behind as a squad.

I will be adding all our Power Ladder matches to the vWar match database as we play them. Go check it out here: http://www.clantug.com/modules.php?name=vWar The match/team statistics can be seen here: http://www.clantug.com/modules.php?name=vWar&mod=stats

I was getting bored with GR, but last night gave me some new fun to look forward to, and I always enjoy playing in matches - so hopefully we can have some fun in the Power Ladder.

I think the fatal-4-way we had last night with CoRe - TUG - SAF - SRU was a great success and lots of fun (if only spoiled a little by the stupid comments from SRU members). I'm glad that we had a good turn out - 7 TUG's - and we came second with 2 map wins to SRU's 4 - SAF & CORE tied last on 1 map win. Thanks guys for a good fun evening and well played.

Congratulations to AK - he's now a Full Member of the clan.

I never played the original, so I'm probably not missing anything - these kinda games arent really my thing - or am I thinking of Commandos? argh!

I know what you mean. I finally managed to get the demo running on my machine and spent an hour just zooming about in the speedboat - couldnt be arsed with actually trying to get onto the island as the scenery looked so nice from the water. I think this migtht be a fun game to play SP, but MP is not gonna do it.

Thanks Scorpio - if you can give me some more info on it - that would be great - email me - beaver@teamwarfare.com Once I've seen it in action and tried it - I'll also be making it illegal on TWL. Thanks.

Congratulmalations guys. Glad to hear you had some good fun.

I've been thinking about it for a little while now & I'm looking to change the forums and having them integrated into our website more. Currently the main site is running on php-nuke and I want to move to using the in-built forums of php-nuke (which is based on phpbb) - this will then allow us more site integration with news and members. We'll be able to use the site properly as a portal system. What does this mean for you the user? Well, once it's done - I'll have to lock these IPB forums and have them available for archive purposes - then have you may all have to register on the main site again, unless I can convert all the users over. Your comments as always are appreciated.

Kaiser - I bought the Object Desktop Suite - $49 - it has Window blinds and all the other stuff included - so didnt see much point in paying $20 per single item. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Just bought a nice new program suit called 'Object Desktop' from http://www.stardock.com and started putting together a theme for my desktop. Here's how its looking so far, much more interesting than the plain Win XP My Desktop What ya think?

Cool - welcome AK - hope to see you online soon. I also changed your forum login name too, it's now: TUGc_AK Once you get the 'c' off - I'll change it again for ya.

Argh - it's actually a registry setting thats been hijacked. Go get - spybot search & destory - do the updates and then run it. It also has some tools for locking the browser def page and also blocking lots of those things for you. Also go get spywareblaster. 1. Spybot - http://security.kolla.de/ 2. SpywareBlaster - http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html I use both, plus Ad-Aware 6. They find things that ad-aware doesnt and vice versa.

Nice job guys - very well played.

True and thank you. - but the pings to saf server have been pretty crap for a while now. I can ping less than 100 to the east coast TWLHosting server - but now never get below 150 to the SAF server in miami. Go figure. I'll pay a few more months I think for the TWL Hosting one - it's not costing much and it's used pretty much everyday and gets full, so at least someone is getting some fun from it.

ty.

Thanks psyc - that would be fun. But.... .....We dont have teh mod - so no can play with j00.

I was supposed to be working, but cant be bothered as its the last day of work, so I just spent the last 2 hours updating all the vWar TWL Match Statistics on the site. You can see the results here: http://www.clantug.com/modules.php?name=vWar I dont think our record is too bad - 17/12 Win/Loss - considering 2 of the losses are due to fucktards not allowing us to re-schedule a match cos it was at 3am. hehe There's a new version of vWar coming soon, with lots more features and things - so once that's out - I'll be moving all our Match notifications and sign-ups to vWar rather than posting everything in the forums. When a match is set in future, I'll have it automatically email you all with the details and you then come to the site - login to vWar and mark your availablity for the match. All the match details will be shown - Time/Date, Server, Opponent, Maps, etc.

DivCon 1.0 seems to work pretty well to allow you to change server settings etc - I like the auto message function so we can spam players with info. I also like the kick feature - it grabs a list of players on the server and their pings & ID' etc - u can then just click and hit the Kick button. I used it last night on a few people who had high pings and could even show a message why they are kicked - cool.
