I'm definately going to be purchasing Armed Assault when it arrives in the UK. Operation Flashpoint was the 1st tactical game that I played on PC & got me into Ghost Recon. Check out these insane screenshots I found on GR.net & an interview with the UK publishers. Interview: http://www.armed-assault-zone.com/news.php?readmore=142 Screenshots below: (click for full res)

So far since the TuG Team [London] Server has been live, we've played a massive amount of games on it. Stats as follows: (upto Friday 3rd November 2006) Domination - 85 rounds played. Hamburger Hill - 287 rounds played. MP Coop - 85 rounds played. Siege - 202 rounds played. Team Deathmatch - 1547 rounds played. All the stat/logs files are saved & will be put into a db shortly. (Yes we're still working on this!! Still!!)
-
I looked at those stat programs & didnt like them much, plus I couldnt get it working on our server. But thanks for posting the links. We're currently writing our own stats engine for GR:AW and presenting it a little different from above. As for our server, it is a full dedicated box that we rent from a UK company called Rackage - www.rackage.com. We have full root admin access to it & can install/run anything we want on it for gaming. Specs are: Dual AMD Opteron 250 CPU's @ 2.2GHz 2GB Ram 100GB Raid HD 100mb connection with unlimited bandwidth.

.TuG. CS:S Public Server - Custom Maps
.TuG.Beaver replied to .TuG.Beaver's topic in Counter-Strike: Source
I'll try & get them on the server later this evening when its quiet. -
Lol - its for consoles m8. sex-box360 & ps2/3 They havent sold 2.4 million PC versions - probably not even .5 million yet. I'm guessing that figure might be combined sales across all platforms. With the sex-box 360 having the highest sales.

Mine too - 16k spectrum, modded with extra memory to make it 48k... -
Welcome to the team - you'll feel right at home as our GR:AW Team Captain is also from sweden...
-
You should have received an email last night declining your application. Reason: Too young - our new min recruiting age is 16+ for CS:S & 18+ for GR:AW Thanks for applying though. Good luck wherever you end up.

** UPDATE ** After playing through the maps this evening, its obvious that most of them on TDM are complete poo. I've therefore removed the TDM versions of AW05, AW06 & AW07 - Hamburger Hill & Siege modes remain though. I've left AW01 - AW04 TDM version in the rotation. Below is a list of exactly whats left on the server:

I am pleased to announce that we have now installed the AW series of maps from Tom Anger on our GR:AW dedicated server. The map series - AW01 to AW07 - are all available to download & install from the Files section (registration required) on our site here: http://www.tugteam.com/forums/downloads.php?do=cat&id=8 The maps will also be auto-downloaded to your client when you join the server if you choose not to download them from us.
-
