.TuG.Beaver

I can make you a cool 'signature' pic like ours. Will try & do it this week - I do have some others to do too.

Thats an xbox360 preview - those screenshots look exactly like the graw2 demo i've been playing on me sexbox.

Thats not how it works though, I think you've got the wrong end of the shitty stick. You dont press a button & are suddenly in cover - you still have the ability to go prone or crouch & your only in the 'cover' mode when your ducked down behind something such as a wall, fence, car - not when your behind boulders, not every single object. Oh & you can also climb over the wall which your covering behind too...

Just playing through the campaign demo now & I have to say its not too bad on sexbox... The graphics look pretty awesome even on my big 32" widescreen tv (not HD TV). For those of us who have played R6:Vegas, they have put in a variation of the cover mode thats found in vegas. Basically you can cover behind walls, etc & then peek over & aim/fire, etc. Not as cool as vegas though, cos you cant do blind fire's (where you stay hidden, but just put the weapon out). Hopefully they might include it in the MP side of things to make it a little more interesting.

I'm just downloading the xbox360 demo at the moment to see what it's going to be like.

Just a minor glitch on the video playback - you can only stream windows WMV or MPEG2 files - it doesnt support divx/xvid/mp4 at all.... Hopefully that will be fixed in the future, & I think there are work-arounds using 'transcoding' if you have windows media center on your pc. I guess for the meantime I'll have to convert my films to WMV format.

My tag is: TuGBeaver Have added you just now.

crikey - this thing is fun. I can now access all my music, videos & pics on my shuttle PC via the TV downstairs. I can even plug in my ipod to the sexbox & stream the music & other stuff off it. Wootabix!!

Seeing as I just bought the sexbox360 & want to also use it's media extender capabilities, I'm going to upgrade my Shuttle XPC to vista home premium. You can get the OEM 32-bit DVD version from scan for ?75 (including vat/delivery/etc) I was going to buy a copy of MCE2005 but it's ?75 before vat, so it's cheaper to get vista home premium (which has media center built in) and use that instead. I will be keeping my gaming rig firmly on XP Pro for the forseeable future though. Anyone else looking to upgrade to vista soon?

Yep, I finally broke and bought myself a sexbox360 today. Got the premium pack from Game, with the extra wireless controller + PGR3. I also bought a copy of Lost Planet:Extreme Condition.... Just need to figure out how all this crap works now, so I can get owned by some spotty 12 year old american kid who'll keep calling me noob while he/she owns me!

Update: The sign-ups will be re-opening on 7th February for the last 1000 places. http://www.multiplay.co.uk/i30/

Maybe I should hold off buying a 360 now & wait... lol

Congratulations to: .TuG.-Breaker .TuG.Vytal on becoming full members of the team... now remove those 'r's

Sweet.

Yep, Unreal Tournament 2007 has been renamed, read on for details:

From Activision today.... Original: Activision

It seems UBI made a mistake with the release date for PC GR:AW2. They have now changed the official UK release date back to 30th Match 2007.

The new 1.03 patch for Vegas has been released (at least on the ubi ftp anyway) Details: I am downloading the patch now - approx 87.8mb As soon as I find the dedicated server files download, I'll be putting a co-op server up for some fun.

Please welcome 'god_of_prey' or Gop as our newest recruit for GR:AW. You should all know him from the amount of time he's spent recently on the GR:AW server. Welcome.

Yes he is - I have alot of the podcast already & he makes me laugh out loud alot!!

Congratulations to .TuG.12345sIx on becoming a Full Member of our CS:S Team. Welcome.

Ouch - ?29.99 - I can get it from Play.com for ?24.99 or ?25.99 from Amazon.co.uk Play.com - GR:AW 2 Amazon.co.uk - GR:AW 2

UbiRazz has posted a thread in the UBI GR:AW PC forums confirming that the UK release of GR:AW 2 will be 9th March 2007. Woot!! Play.com has it listed as 01/03/2007, but I expect that will be updated in time. Where do you think the best place to pre-order it might be? I know Play.com screwed many of us over with R6:Vegas delivered late, but that was over the xmas period.

Accordding to the forum - your an old(er) git today!! Happy Birthday.

Pwned!!
