dude you have to see if your cpu cooler would be good enough for it, maybe a zalman would be better, i.e. the zalman cnps 9500 or 9700

it is very efficient and also totally low-noised!

and last thing i have to say is for the ram:

i dont think you really need a ddr2 1066 mhz because you wouldn't notice anything in games when you used a 800 mhz or 1066 mhz in my opinion mate

so why spend more money?

The cooler is one of the best for a 775 CPU mate and it outperforms the ZALMAN which are over rated (I've had loads of them) The faster memory makes all the difference. It's the one thing that people skimp on, and it's the one thing that causes the most bottlenecks. Anyone who says the speed of the ram isn't important has never used fast ram.

It's no point getting fast everyghing else it your ram isn't up to it. Look at the speed of my FSB?? Look at the speed of the ram?? It's no coincidence.

I'm a qulified PC Hardware engineer so I know what I'm doing! ;)

Right Bulldog??

Where are you getting your stuff from Tweak, it all looks pretty expensive compared to the prices I've seen recently.

oh & the arctic cooler already has paste on it - you dont need to buy seperate.

I just priced up same parts on scan and it comes out cheaper too. :)

I am waiting for next month when the new Penryn core chips are out, which means the current batch will drop in price. Gonna build a new rig to replace my shuttle.

Funny you should mention that mate! After I posted the price list I shopped around and got the lot for
