No matter how many times i play i seem stuck on how good i am, i like many of you will turn up at night play a few warm up rounds and then im either Top or bottom on some maps and its the same everynight sometimes i do well and sometimes i do not do to well yes i do enjoy it with all of you lot on, i cannot say that it isnt fun, but i dont seem to be able to think well doin this will make me get more kills or not, it seems as though the faster you run around get killed then spawn as fast as poss to do it all again makes you get to the top:) and i see everyone seems to be doin exaclty the same. I have never played in a match in this game and i cant see what difference it would make. I dont see much activity in matches although a lot of teams are out there nothing seems to be happening.?? Im bored with our stock maps they are good but i liked the modded maps although i can see why we had to take them off hopefully they will be back sooner rather than later. Game mode im still a big TDM fan and cant really seem to enjoy the other mode as much cause all i do in all of them is go for kills rather than the points The weapons, ive dropped most noob tubes and now stick with the g36 and m14 both with red dot and the perks i have 3 nades and silence but might change for bomb squad. All in all it is a good game not entirley to my taste but it does seem to draw the players which is good for MP but i do hope for a better game that suits my play and something i can match in sooooooooooooooooon as i miss the matching side of games. .TuG.ApeX Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 5 months on....... i would have stopped playing weeks ago but as you say jj it keeps us playing mp as a team and there nothing else around at the momment to replace it?.... although there isnt much teamwork the fast pace of the game dosnt lend itself to to anything too complex tactics wise... rpg,s newbtubes and the weaponry in general bear no resemblance to actual weapons use,, and the bunny hopping and jumping off buildings element is farcical... it is after all a no brainer of a game but having said that its still alot of fun and laughter can still be heard(amoungst the swearing) on TS. what i would like to see is more content from the devs, maps ect.. im not to worried about stats and number of kills promotions ect ect its the win that is important so if you only have 1 kill and you spend the whole game defending your given position and the team your on gets the victory music ..job done if you get away with 0 deaths be happy getting your name at the top dosnt mean your any better than the next man more likely your playing alone and not as a team member.. thats not directed at any one its just they way things are for me it can be a very frustrating game at times a couple of things that would improve the game would be to add the gimped factor if you hear the sickening crack when youve jumped off something you spend the rest of the game limping at a slower pace. make all weapons use the breathing system.. only using it for sniping is ridiculous as it is an integeral part of firing any small arms, try getting a head shot at 50 mtrs on any range with a pistol from the standing or kneeling positions it aint point and shoot in short take the hollywood out of the game. oh and finally as a team keep the chat down on coms unless its relevant to play,,if your dead stfu totally.. sight and sound are the only senses you have in game you open your mouth(or arse in some cases)you deprive your team mates of an importent weapon "nough said now feck off" Ape X Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For those who get fed up of the frantic charging around in the standard game, the sniper only mods give a bit of welcome relief. .TuG.Tweak Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 I've played on the SAS maps, they're ok but I think it becomes a chore quite quickly as you have to basically belly crawl through grass for 5 minutes to get to a sniper spot. Hey, yea after some time whit Cod4 mayhem i can say it is a lot fun sometimes as it is a quake alike game style fast and real intense, u got 2 think a step a head all times where u spawn where u got 2 go and have a super fast aim correction and so on. But the best style i now is rather tactics and more true battle game like Raven Shield, Gr1 and Graw. Man i miss some of them good add-ons 2 raven shields... So for now it ant a lot more gg out there like Apex said, so i stick whit cod. JJUK is totally right about CoD4, remember with GR you did actually get better the more you played, infact you got worse if you went on holiday! A lot of games and CoD4 is another example it's about maps, if you know the map and it fits your style then you get a high score, if you don't then you wont! The score works like pinball, you get 5 kills then it acts like a multiplier, aka, air strikes, helis. This makes big gaps in individual players scores, I think its to try to incentivise players to stay alive and not kill-die-kill-die, but it doesn't seem to work. CoD4 is another pot noodle of an FPS, need a fix of run and gun, die and spawn mayhem then pick it up. It's addictive and fun for now, the single player campaign is the best bit imho. Also there is noway I'm gonna give my details etc and pay for an official map pack. Jumping on the MMORPG's money bandwagon for a game that has no real meat in it is ftl. If it's not going to be Fuel then fingers crossed for Flashpoint. For me atm single player F.E.A.R is ftw. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
