Code of Conduct The Unknown Ghosts [.TuG.] are a collection of like-minded gamers who formed to have fun playing online games. These include games such as: Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon:Advanced Warfighter, Counter-Strike: Source & many others that have passed over time. Player Rules: 1. Respect fellow members as individuals and recognise the authority of senior members. If you are asked to do something by a senior member whilst playing online, then please do it. 2. Never use racial, religious or sexually intolerant language against another member or another online player. This will give the team a bad name and you may be dismissed. 3. Never display un-sporting or childish behaviour towards a fellow member or another online player. This will give the team a bad name and you may be dismissed. 4. Never use cheats or unlawful modifications that will give you an unfair advantage against opponents. This includes GLITCHING on maps, etc. Any member found cheating on any servers will be dismissed from the team. 5. Respect the Host of the server you may be playing on, and follow any rules that are being enforced. If a Host asks you to move teams, or stop moaning, or stop asking for maps, then: Just Do It. 6. Don't be quick to accuse people of cheating, because they are beating you. If you suspect that someone is cheating on a server, inform a senior member of the team and they can raise the issue the senior members of the team\'s server you are playing on. 7. If you are hosting on the .TuG. dedicated servers, then please abide by the following rules: i. Let people know when they join the server of any special rules you may be playing with. i.e. Pistols only, Snipers only, etc. ii. DO NOT give out the .TuG. server passwords. It takes time to reset all passwords, so keep them to yourself. iii. If someone is being abusive to you or other players on the server, then please ask them to stop it, as it will not be tolerated. If they persist, then BOOT them. iv. Remember that you are playing for FUN. Try and ensure that other players joining/playing are OK with your rules & map selections, otherwise they\'ll just leave and won't come back. I can't be sure obviously, because I don't have access to your system, but I'm guessing something else is running in the background every few minutes or so and stealing the Windows 'Focus', that is - it jumps to the front of everything else, placing it's window first (thus the term stealing focus) - The fact that you cannot see anything may be indicative of Spyware. At the Risk of teaching you to suck-eggs, I would suggest a Full system scan using the latest version & definition updates of ADAWARE Personal Edition, a scan with Spybot S&D (latest version 1.3), also install SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard from JavaCool Software - All Free of Course.. Another useful utility is HiJackThis, which will give you a listing of everything that is currently running on your system - a good look through the log may pick up something. Best of Luck. PS: Microsoft's own TweakUI has a setting whereby you can prevent applications from 'focus stealing' - at least until some other naughty piece of software comes along and steals it back again..

I have downloaded and installed the patch to update the game to the latest Version. It's 320+ MB in size! Although the patch does NOT provide you with all the extra's, you can still play on servers running the addon, you just can't buy the new weapons, someone with the addon has to buy them for you.. But the game does SEEM to run better and I for one shall be familiarising myself with this game once again!

I'm not sure who posts the TWL GR 'result', because I don't play it, but if it's Beaver (I'm guessing because it was a TWL match), then i'm afraid he is not back at his PC until Sunday pm because he is helping someone with a house move. It DOES look good, but I personally feel we have seen all this sort of hype before .... We get to see the most Beautiful Hi-Res Screen shots, smooth flowing action etc., etc. (taken using the highest spec machine that only the likes of a commercial games manufacturer can afford) , only to be rather disappointed when the game is actually released and we attempt to gain the same experience through it's Multiplayer option(s), towhit we are greeted by cheats, a lack of online players and/or stuttering/glitchy Graphics! I refer the honourable gentlemen to some previous games that we have tried with no particular success... [a] BattleField 1942 ( Battlefield Vietnam [c] Call of Duty [d] Soldner [e] Half Life 2 [f] America's Army and presently [g] Brothers in Arms:Road to Hill 30, which seems to suffer from a few sound problems and a poor control system where you cannot even go prone! Imagine that in WW2.. "sorry sarge I gotta keep my head up coz I can't lie down.." Anyway, Having viewed the Hi-res movie clips at the above link, just have a look back down memory lane at "Delta-Force: BlackHawk Down".. my don't those 'new' graphics look familiar! Having had the previous versions of BF, which are now consigned to my shelf, I for one will not be pre-ordering this title .. just yet

WTF is it with this special forces training bit?! Having spoken to several very boring people, sat and passed a cruddy exam, Now I'm required to crawl around for ages in the dark! I made waypoints Alpha & Bravo after some considerable time, but before I could achieve Charlie it was time to go out for dinner - and there is no way to carry on from where you left off apart from leaving the PC on all the time!! I'll be fucked if I'm going through all that shit again.. what's the point in making a game as boring as actual military training, all that's missing is "Death by Powerpoint" and we'd be there! Oh, and as for point charlie, could I find a way past those guys next to the vehicles? could I bollox! Due to numerous requests DM_Docks has been removed from the mapcycle lists. This was the small map containing a single building with loft looking out onto waterfilled area with 3 piers. Admittedly it was (1) a bit small and (2) a bit buggy.

There are so many 'decent' headsets around nowadays the choice is bewildering. You should set yourself a budget and try and stick to it. That way you can narrow the field. Check out "Logitech", "Altec Lansing", "Plantronics" and for the deep-of-pocket, "Sennheiser" as possible manufacturers. For a start take a look at the "Plantronics DSP-500" on Amazon.co.uk to see what you are getting for your money.. This headset seems to have some reasonable reviews and having used one myself I can say that the sound was 'crystal'... about ?55 or if money is not an object then have a look for the "Sennheiser PC155 Binaural Headset USB", which is about ?98.. But don't forget to shop around and have a look in all the usual hardware forums and review sites (like computer-shopper).
