  1. The OICW, by H&K, has been under development since the early nineties. The H&K website information can be found at: http://www.hkpro.com/oicw.htm by the way, visiting that 1up.com website link above initiates a high level security risk within N.I.S. pro 2004 - namely URL_Directory_Traversal via port 80.
  2. Not if the MOD has anything to do with it - unless it is completely re-designed to be uncomfortable and impractical, contains no technology newer than 10 years out of date and is only marginally more preferable to running around naked with a target stapled to your backside.. even then only 300 will be produced, of which 298 will remain in the main clothing store "for future issue" and the other two will be used for publicity photo's in some current theatre of operations before being given back... sorry, did I get a bit bitter and twisted then? Oh, maybe it's just the 21+ years of military experience tarnishing my once rosey outlook.. I think my glasses need their 'magenta' filter replacing..
  3. The above link does not work for me - I guess you have to be logged-in (registered) and at the front of the download queue (as you were no doubt at the time); currently I just get a 403 error page- 'not authorised to view'..
  4. The 'cheap and cheerful' way to do it is with the [PrtScn] button on your keyboard. This is often to the right of the keyboard, above the numberpad (If you have an F-Lock key it must be on to enable the Function Keys). This then copies the entire screen (as an image) to the PC's clipboard. Open your favourite Image editing software and 'paste' as a new image.. you are then free to save in whatever format you wish. Holding down the key and using [PrtScn] will just capture the top window. * Other interesting functions for your keyboard include: [Win]+L to immediatly lock your computer. [Win]+E to open Explorer. [Win]+R for the Run dialog. [Win]+M to minimize all windows at once. Hello?.. wake up ya ungrateful bazta's ya!
  5. Erm ... I think that Dummy counter has a glitch in it.. and I think we should keep Wizzy away from the Cyanide capsules.. Excellent stats - from what I am reading on other forums we await the production of an image pack to allow United Offensive maps/weapons etc to show up.. let's hope it is soon.. Oh and wizzy, 21+ hours to-date!!!?? You best get off yer ass and get the bloody hoovering done..
  6. Yeah mine too..

    Time

Now lets see what time I posted this.. My PC Clock says 21:28, the clock above says 21:28.. Edit: ..and the time I posted this reply concurrs.. Suggestion: Maybe you need to check out the 'My Controls' link at the top of the page, then click on the 'Board Settings' option to check whether you have set up your time zone/daylight saving option.. ** It seems Beaver snuck his post 'under-the-wire' as I was editing this one... Biatch..
  10. or this round-the-corner Gun. Full article link.. Nursery rhyme?? There was a crooked man, who had a crooked gun... aso
  11. You will also find them at SimplyGames.com, where the 'Deluxe' edition is currently ?24.79 delivered (which includes the latest pack) or the expansion pack on it's own is ?16.89 delivered. This is currently even cheaper than play.com (by 10p ), but alas play.com do not have the deluxe edition yet.. Anyone found it cheaper still?? (vat & delivery should be included!) * btw: I just got a brand new, sealed, Battlefield 1942 WWII Anthology for ?23:50 (?21+?2.50pp) on Ebay.. compared to ?25.89 (simply) and ?26.99 (play)
  12. When you say (sp) 'cleaver', do you mean like.. he's a big chopper?
  13. OMG!! It's f****n' blue!! I hate blue, I wear it all day.. no please, it's a bad dream.. make the nasty thoughts go away... oh.. erm sorry, seem to have gone off on one there!! (maybe no-one will have noticed ) Anyway, yes, methinks we need either a GR type Dark Green scheme or a Black theme as before, I'm sure IPB v2 will have one available sometime soon.. we need to get the Clan Icons/Logo's back that's for sure - instead of being a walking advertisment.. This default theme was called 'subsilver' when I had it on my own php-nuke forum.. Soon had it changed to subblack though!! Can we import an extra smiley pack or so as well please? Something with daft animated gifs akin to our gun-toting roots perhaps? edit: clicking on anybodys 'card' keeps bringing up the following error text: Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in /home/tugadmin/public_html/forum/lang/en/lang_profile.php on line 87 IPB WARNING [2] Invalid argument supplied for foreach() (Line: 727 of /sources/functions.php)

    To Beaver

Have you tried posting your queries to the Nuke Cops forum? They are the official developers of php nuke and have provided a number of fixes for the likes of yourself who may be having specific problems. The website can be found here http://nukecops.com/. I hope that this may point the way..
  15. I like those.. very funny.. and in answer to UD's I think Heckler and Koch will sell you one, just ask for a G36C. The full description and graphic can be found HERE , but it does have a rather notable flat built Picatinny Rail, allowing for various optics... as the chap is demonstrating more than amply!
  16. download the proper utility for your mainboard from the manufacturers site.. MSI supply such monitoring utilities either on the driver CD or you can download them from the website.. Another way to get a reading is to have the pc run for a while then reboot and enter the BIOS, where you can check out the various temperatures in the monitoring section.. but the manufacturers utility integrates with these readings and is available via the windows interface - so it saves you having to do it... You will find the utility (for msi boards) through the liveupdate - It is called "PC Alert 4" and monitors the whole lot..
  17. !! Get yourself away and bung on a CPU cooler the likes of THIS or the likes of THIS before you end up frying that baby! You can even get a nice Coolermaster Control and bung it in a drive bay.. This is my current self-build system: Currently I have one of these in the drive bay.. Three of these in the case.. And one of these on my CPU Which just about keeps my machine from sweating..
  18. Have you checked what 'services' are running under windows XP? Have a visit to this link for details on how to Optimise XP Services, it's a good starting point and you'll be suprised at just how many services you have running that don't show up in msconfig. As for the pagefile have you set it to a custom size or is it windows managed? As you can see from my current setup, I have a HDD partition set aside for just the pagefile, the minimum of which is set to that recommended by XP, which is based on your installed memory and the maximum is set to the size of useable partition space (system restore is disabled for this drive along with the recycle bin - thus maximising space); The system is able to increase/decrease the pagefile but it will never fall below the minimum. Further reading on the function of the Virtual Memory can be digested HERE if you are interested. Other than that it could be a heat problem, bearing in mind that you say it happens after an hour or so of gaming. Download & Install a CPU temperature monitoring program like Motherboard Monitor V5.3.6 (freeware) and take note of the reading before you start your game and then alt-tab out an hour or so later when the slow-down seems to be happening to see if there are any significant increases.. It could be you will need some more AGP/CPU cooling.. just a thought.. hope I have been of some assistance.. ** further to my last, you could do worse than to visit the PCAnswers Forums, register and ask the same question in their Hardware section.. there are always experts on hand to post their opinions Entitle your topic "Slow down during gaming" or the like, to get people's attention..
  19. I was around all weekend in and out of the Soldner server, on TS, Ventrillo and didn't see anyone!? Has everybody gone away again? Now it's back to work for me and I didn't even get a great weekend of gaming in Boo-Hoo..
  20. He means memory sticks capable of, and designed for, being overclocked, with the facility for a number of CAS Latency settings in order that the game-geeks of this world can tweak their system till it runs hotter than an oil-riggers underwater welding torch, requires more cooling than a Kray super-computer and results in the components having the lifespan of a Mayfly - But hey, some people might like to put K&N air filters and a big noisy Can on their Ferrari.. That's cool.. it's totally their bag man.. ..besides, anyone with less than a full GB of Dual Channel DDR is obviously a girl..
  21. Could I have the following placed somewhere (eg the top left) in my sig block please? It's a transparent background gif. You may have to resize to suit. Thanks awfully 'ol bean!
  22. If you are going for a 9600 Pro have the extra RAM; so when your AGP aperture is (correctly) set to say 64MB in the BIOS, the AGP functions will be forced to the Video Card's DDR (the job for which it was designed), rather than have the processes farmed out to the system memory... Considering a lot of games require a minimum 128MB on a card, give yourself the 'breathing' space and have the 256MB.. sweet!
  23. Yes, absolutely. It's all down to quality of components and service/support and OEM driver updates etc,. The usual suspects (MSI, ASUS, CREATIVE aso) tend to use tighter quality control than say, the likes of SAPPHIRE; and they produce frequent driver updates, unlike the latter. PNY are a good alternative and have produced some good quality boards for a reasonable price. As for the Radeon/GeForce debate this rages on; with both sides claiming the better core speeds and bandwidth; of which I believe Bandwidth to be of great importance! I had the 9600pro when it first came to the market (at a cost of ?385) and the bandwidth at that time was phenomenal, although driver compatibility was a problem as it always is with 'cutting-edge' technology. ATI were forced to climb-down on their declaration that there card was faster when it was discovered that their '3D-Mark' score had been manipulated by the designers creating inbuilt processor codes to produce a faster result - This was always denied.. but items are still around on the net wrt this event.. Of late the holder of the AGP crown was the Radeon 9800XT, with resounding framerate victories achieved in certain tests over the 5950 Ultra (which still beats everything else in sight bar the afformentioned 9800XT). ATI have held strong over the last year with nVidia catching up, but never quite making it...
  24. maybe we were too late to watch it - and now we're stuck with just the blank screen after the credits have rolled.. bugger, I'd bought popcorn too..
  25. At Dabs.com - Athlon 64 FX-53 1MB S940= ?589.00 inc VAT You might also want to look at these Gaming Benchmarks for a variety of CPU's (Pentium & Athlon). Remember, the FX chip is at the very cutting edge; of the others, the Athlon64 3200+ is currently ?175 @ dabs whereas a Pentium4 3.4Ghz is ?270 !! It all depends on whether you believe the 'Pentium Hype', which for the most part is like saying 'PCWorld truly is stamping down on Prices'.. <_< Cough! erse!?
